My best friend’s daughter is going off to college next year but she is taking this year off from studying so that she can take a little time for herself and backpack across Europe. It sound so romantic but really, a lot of thought has to go into this journey. She has to try to get the best exchange rates to try to make her money go as far as it can. Every penny will count on this trip, that is for sure. She has been thinking about this since she was a sophomore in high school and it is surprising how much planning she was able to do on her own.
