I did a video a few months ago on how to avoid identity theft and figured you guys might like to know a few of them as identity theft can really leave your life in shambles especially if you’re reliant on having things like credit. It’s a huge mess to clean up and takes a lot of time so here are some simple things to prevent it from happening in the first place. As they say, an ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure. Make sure you keep track of your wallet and store bank and credit card statements in a safe place and when it comes time to throw them out, send them through a cross cut shredder. Make sure you shred credit cards when you’re done with them as well.
