The Federal Government is being supportive of the plight of financially challenged college students through pell grants. This is actually the government’s way of pushing for the need of higher education. If one’s financial resources impede a person’s ability to pursue a college education, then the above-mentioned grants will make it possible for them to continue with their education. These grants are not student loans wherein the recipients are required to pay the loaned money after graduation. The grants are based on one’s expected family contribution. Such information will be supplied in the applicant’s application form as supporting documents to be determined by the US Department of Education.
